Karen has a heart for supporting local community projects along with missions further afield.
Karen’s husband Mark is the Pastor at BH1 Elim, while Karen looks after the worship team among other things. Their passion for the local community of Springbourne, Bournemouth is to see lives changes and hearts renewed. Partnering with many local charities, they hope to see the church become a beacon of light in the community and a place of refuge from the storms of life.

COMPASSION UKRELEASING CHILDREN FROM POVERTY IN JESUS' NAME
“Compassion is a leading children’s charity. At our heart is a relentless passion to act on our compassion and empower every child left vulnerable by poverty. Our approach to fighting poverty is highly focused and personal. It’s summed up in three simple words: Compassion for children. For 66 years, we’ve been giving children the opportunity to escape the suffering and fear poverty brings.”
We’re right with you in believing every child matters. As these famous quotes about children show, kids deserve to be safe, fed, educated and empowered.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
for the rights of all who are destitute.
Speak up and judge fairly;
defend the rights of the poor and needy.
CAMINUL FELIXTHE PLACE WHERE HOPES & DREAMS BECOME REALITY AND CHILDREN CALL IT HOME
“Caminul Felix responds to the needs of the abandoned children of Romania. We bring children together with a mother and a father who are called to raise these children as their own. This is a preferred model of care and it is proven to give maximum results, offering support in their psycho-emotional development and at the same time giving them a future.”
Caminul Felix invites you to visit a work that changes the lives of abandoned children in Romania, giving them the love of God, a mother, a father, and a new family. We invite you to come and experience an experience that can change the lives of children all over the world.
Having personally visited Romania and have spent time working with Caminul Felix, Karen has a personal interest in this charity and would love for other’s to get involved in any way that they can too.
